Most people traveling to Los Angeles spend their time in the west side area. This is where the action is, with Santa Monica pier and malibu beach, most tourists don’t even make their way across the 405. However, for us, the valley is home and that means we know the ins and outs of where to eat. It’s no secret that Los Angeles has the best spots to eat, so take my advice and make your way to these essential spots.
Niko Sushi
This little hole in the wall sushi restaurant in the hear of Tarzana, California may not seem like anything special from the outside but one bite of their sushi and you’ll be a regular. From the moment you enter, the experience begins with warm towels, tasty starters, and then boom the reason you’re there, the infamous Niko Roll. The perfect mixture of yellowtail, spicy tuna, and imitation crab, will make your mouth water. It’s as if it was made from God’s hands straight to your mouth. You don’t want to miss being part of this so get yourself to Niko Sushi for an unforgettable dining experience. Also, a little secret, go for lunch and you can get there massive Niko Handrolls for only $6.50 instead of $16 at dinnertime.
California Chicken Cafe
With the freshest vegetables you will ever find, CCC has the overall best salad bar in all of Los Angeles. Not only is the avocado extra fresh but their special feta cheese will actually melt in your mouth. Their menu isn’t limited to salads, you can even order a whole chicken and feed the entire family. If you’re asking me I would recommend the 411 salad, so you can choose with ingredients you want to include and make sure to add the white meat chicken and avocado and don’t forget their unique balsamic dressing! Wow, I need this now!
Super Wok
If you’re having a night in with friends, Super Wok is the Chinese restaurant you need to order from. Their dishes are jam-packed with flavour at can’t beat prices. The two dishes we highly recommend are their braised green beans and sweet and pungent shrimp. However, if you’re not a fan of seafood there are plenty of other options whether its chicken, tofu, or beef. Order for delivery and cuddle up in front of a movie with a plate of Chinese food and we promise it will be the best night of the year.
