The Questionable Trial
When the war ended, the heads of the Lebensborn campaign were brought to a court of justice. Nobody could believe their eyes or ears when they were all acquitted of their horrific crimes.
The verdict was: “The prosecution has failed to prove with the requisite certainty the participation of Lebensborn, and the defendants connected therewith in the kidnapping program conducted by the Nazis.”
