When the couple returned to Mississippi, Aaron enrolled in seminary to become a pastor. Time passed and the couple kept thinking about the good times they had in Honduras. The couple often thought about returning to the magical place. After a few years, the two began planning a family and Rachel and Aaron debated whether to adopt a child or have one of their own.

The Community
Rachel and Aaron decided to continue the mission. While Rachel was teaching at school, Aaron did an internship and was also the youth director in the Presbyterian Church. The couple was so busy that they decided they didn’t have time to conceive. Therefore, the couple wanted to adopt a child.
