The deaf actress appeared in an episode called “The Lip Reader,” but she is known for starring in a hit movie called Children of a Lesser God. She brings a deaf woman to life in the film. When she was on Seinfeld, she broke the stereotypes that people had about deaf people by playing Laura. Of course, she is yet another love interest of Jerry. George comes up with the idea to have her spy on a conversation taking place from across them at a party. This turns out to be a funny way to show how amazing lip reading is!

When it comes to Jerry’s girlfriends, Jane Leeves takes the crown for the longest tenure in the position. She plays Marla four times overall. In 1992, she is introduced in an episode called “The Virgin.” Her last appearance on the show took place in 1998. She is famous for playing Daphne Moon in the Frasier spinoff, Cheers. On that show, she played the character for eleven seasons and received an Emmy and Golden Globe nomination.
