Robby Benson – Now
These days, Benson’s best known work is lending his voice to the “Beast” in the Disney animated film Beauty and The Beast. He has been happily married since 1982 and worked as a professor at different universities in Utah, South Carolina, New York, and currently, Indiana. Fact: Robby had suffered from heart problems, which he never mentioned to directors and producers since he thought they wouldn’t cast him in anything. Benson has had more than four heart surgeries.

Since the sixties, Ron has been acting, starting out as a child actor. One of his prominent roles was on The Andy Griffith Show, but his most successful role came later, when he starred on Happy Days. He played the main character Richie Cunningham, who was the centered and mild-mannered teenager that grew up with his friends in Milwaukee.
