Former teen heart-throb Baio is best known for his time on the sitcom Happy Days, where he played Chachi, Joanie Cunningham’s (Erin Moran) love interest. However, years before, he was also the lead in the musical gangster film Bugsy Malone, which was based on how 1920’s gangsters like Bugs Moran and Al Capone lived during prohibition. The film’s twist was that only child actors starred in it. One of them was Jodie Foster, the future Oscar winner. Fact: There were more than two thousand other kids who auditioned for Baio’s part.
