Joanie Laurer was a famous WWF wrestler. She was known for being incredibly strong and challenging sex and gender norms in the industry. She faced difficulties throughout her life, and toward the end of her life there were frequent reports of her struggle with drugs and alcohol. She overdosed on April 20, 2016.

Michelle Thomas
Michelle Thomas was an actress and comedian known for her roles on The Cosby Show and Family Matters. Michelle had a rare form of stomach cancer called intra-abdominal desmoplastic small-round-cell tumor. She had surgery to remove the lemon-sized tumor, and another after the second growth ruptured. Sadly, she never came back. She passed away in 1998 at only 30 years old.
