Miller took the time to cleanse the cat. He wiped all the dust out of her fur with a damp cloth. When he looked at Crosby, he discovered that the dog was looking happy and vigorously wagging his tail. The kitten must have been eight weeks old at most, from the look of things. The reality was that Miller had no idea how to take care of her. He hoped the real owners were searching for the kitten.

Immediately after that, he decided to search for the kittens’ parents. Unfortunately, his actions have borne no fruit. He spoke and hung posters for his neighbours. Nobody wanted the cat, however. Many residents claimed they had seen her on the sidewalks, so she had to be a stray. Miller took her to the vet after that.
