Miller, like every other responsible pet owner, was worried about Crosby. In despair, he stroked the puppy; this was the first time Crosby had snapped out of a trance-like mind. Boy, what is it? He asked the dog as he looked into those gigantic eyes. Miller was just pleased to see that everything was all right for Crosby. Maybe he’d been looking at a moth. It turned out to be much greater than that in the end!

For a time, the dog started whining. Luckily, after a little bit, they finally started listening to them. Out of hiding and into the open area, Loreta tried to coax it. When they saw the dog scream, it crushed their hearts, but things began looking up for them fast enough.
