Miller did not recognize the difference in the actions of his pet at first. The two of them were committed to their schedules, rendering the alert signals more challenging to spot. He actually found it out one day. He had just gotten home from work and had predicted a loving embrace from his fuzzy friend. But he saw a sight instead that frightened him to no end! He was unable to get his mind around what he thought.

Miller called him out, but Crosby did not reply. For some time, he noticed his dog staring at the wall of the living room. Why was the animal not answering his calls? He was concerned that bad hearing had caused Crosby to struggle. The dog did not respond even though he raised his voice. Miller crouched down next to a fuzzy companion of his, staring at the same section of the wall. What attracted his eye in the first place exactly?
