Being Patched
At the initiation ceremony, he will receive the top Hells Angels winged death head logo and rocker after being voted in by the charter. He can only consider himself a full member of the club at this point. The procedure in question is also referred to as “being patched.”
The Dequiallo And Filthy Few Patches
In a book called “Gangs,” author Tony Thompson said that the members of the club can earn patches by doing specific deeds. There is the Nazi-like SS one with lightning bolts and the words “Filthy Few.” It is believed that a member can get one of these if they have committed murder for the club or is willing to do so. Aside from that, there is also the “Dequiallo” patch, which is worn by people who have displayed violence towards law enforcement as they were being arrested. There are more secretive patches that members wear to show how dedicated they are to the club or what they have accomplished.
