Herman Wouk is a famous American author. His books have been translated into 27 languages after they became best-sellers. As a result, he has won multiple awards for his excellent writing. He writes both fiction and non-fiction. A few of his books even became Broadway shows and movies. He also kept a diary since 1973 all the way through to 2008, when he offered all of them to the Library of Congress. He had over 100 diaries by 2012. Since he used them to reference dates and facts in his writings, he had a hard time parting from them, so as a compromise he agreed to have them digitally scanned so he could keep the original copies.

Dick Van Dyke has become a recognizable Hollywood figure throughout his successful career. He is known, of course, for his acting, singing, dancing, and comedic appearances. Having been ion many famous TV shows and movies, he was in Mary Poppins and even had his own showed named The Dick Van Dyke Show. Van Dyke has won several prestigious awards such as Emmys, a Tony, and a Grammy to name a few. To this day he remains active in Hollywood.
